Identity

Identity is who you are. It isn't just your appearance but also what you think and believe. It is your whole self and the things that are located deeply inside you. Getting to know my identity and write it down is quite hard for me. It is quite hard for me because I have to think about it again and again to unravel secrets or doorways that would lead to many other things in my life. You need time to thoroughly think about it before those doorways are going to open up to many other things about you. Almost everything influences me and   represents my identity, even colors do represent your identity!

If I was to choose a color, I would definitely choose to be the color turquoise.I want to be turquoise because it's beautiful and elegant. It also reminds me of the calm and cool blue sea. Turquoise is a relaxing as well as a light color for the eyes. It makes me feel light headed with no stress or worries. My identity is represented by the color turquoise because it is me; I am the color turquoise. Those three pictures above represent the color I like and the complimentary color. The complimentary colors are the colors that are next to a color in a color wheel. So the complimentary color that I chose was blue.

There are lots of other things that influences me, for example my school which is RIS. Schools certainly influence people's lives because you get knowledge and education from schools. Therefore, RIS had influenced how I think and who I am. Other than this, movies and books also effects my identity. The movie House had given me the thought of being a doctor. Being a doctor is challenging but also important to the society.

  1. Minnie, I really like this blog post. You have descriptively explained why you like the color turquoise. You have also included a lot of fabulous word choices, such as unravel and elegant. You have also included a picture, which makes the writing more interesting. In my opinion, I think that you should add a few punctuation marks in your writing, such as a comma. Apart from punctuation marks, this blog post is awesome!

  2. I think your header seems so peaceful if you into it and imagine that your there on the beach. :) From the header, this really tells me that you like the colour turquoise in the beach because the beach's cool air relives stress from school. I think its really really cool.
